We process personal data only to the extent necessary for this website and for your request. The controller is Jean David, address above. Swiss data protection law applies.

Your request

When you submit the form, we receive your photos, your message, your name, your email address and the IP address from which you are sending. We use this information to identify your object and to reply to you. We do not pass it on to anyone else, except to the service providers named here.

Payment and cookies

Payment is processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Dublin, Ireland). Your payment details go directly to Stripe; we do not receive them. Stripe sets cookies on the form so that payment runs securely and fraud can be detected. We do not use any other cookies, for example for statistics or advertising. You can refuse cookies in your browser, but payment may then not be possible.

Hosting, email and fonts

The website and email are hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva. When a page is accessed, the server stores technical data such as the IP address, time and browser in order to keep the site running securely. The font is loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address.

Data abroad

Stripe and Google may also process data in the USA. Stripe, LLC and Google LLC are certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the Swiss Federal Council has recognised as adequate.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted, unless we are required to keep it, for example as proof of payment. An email to info@afrikanischekunst.ch is all it takes.
